MiFarm Oysters, Inc., founded in 2010, is a home-based oyster-farming business located on a 113 year-old family farm that overlooks the mouth of Fleet's Bay in the Northern Neck of Virginia. MiFarm leases over 60 acres of oyster farming grounds whose proximity to the Chesapeake Bay allows our oysters a wide-open view of the Chesapeake Bay. These quiet, almost sacred grounds, have been used for centuries to provide seafood lovers with one of the best tasting oysters in the world. Shells from the mid 20th century still line the mouth of Fleet's Bay, each one of them testifying to its delectability.

Oysters are a healthy choice because of their remarkable nutritional value. They are an excellent source of Protein, Omega-3, Zinc, Calcium, Iron, Vitamin B-12, Potassium, and Magnesium. Oysters are very low in both fat and calories, at only 1-2 fat grams and 4-5 calories for 6 medium sized oysters. Not only are they good for you, but they taste amazing and can be prepared in a vast variety of ways, or as most commonly enjoyed, fresh and raw.
